IT Field Service Technician

Pay Rate: $22.00/HR W2, plus paid drive time and mileage reimbursement

Hours: Mon-Fri, starting at 7am every day, hours will fluctuate weekly, average of 30+

Location: Denver, CO service area

Duration: 9+ months

Description:

The Field Service Technician will travel to a chain of restaurants throughout the greater Denver area to work on an upgrade to the company s Point of Sale Machines.The area covered will be up to 80 miles outside of Denver.

• Upgrade and maintain POS systems for large chain of restaurants
• Working with POS systems and the WiFi access points
• Perform network tests to confirm connectivity
• Troubleshooting software
• Mounting monitors
• Occasionally perform reimaging and data backups

Skills:

• Candidates should have 2 years of experience supporting POS machines
• Troubleshooting skills with hardware and software
• Ability to setup, configure and add hardware.
• A+ certification is a preferred.
• Must be able stay focused, working independently
• Great Customer Service
• Time management
• Reliable transportation (willingness and ability to travel up to 120 miles in a day)
• Must have own hand tools
