Summary
Works with the Worship Director in facilitating weekend worship services and events. This position helps oversee schedules, and worship projects, as well as caring for and developing worship team members.
Responsibilities
- Champion the culture, mission, and vision of Grace church
- Attend weekly and monthly Campus, Network staff, and Creative team meetings
- Assist campus worship director with weekend services and event planning
- Serve as scheduled leader, musical director, or other position needed for weekend services and church events
- Manage all new team member interviews and auditions as directed
- Create and distribute volunteer team communication for weekends and events. This includes song notes, vocal notes, musical documents and general communication
- Work with the Worship Director in finding and evaluating new songs to be included in upcoming and current service rotation
- Oversee maintenance and programming for service and event support music stems and instrument tracks in Ableton software
- Support and encourage volunteer team members with development, spiritual journey and day-to-day growth through relational interactions as needed
- Help oversee and facilitate student worship programming including, but not limited to team scheduling, onboarding, programming, service documentation, and service leadership
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the campus worship director or creative pastor
Qualifications
- Dedicated walk with Jesus that prioritizes both church and family
- Consistently exhibits a Christ like character
- Ability to effectively communicate with others verbally and through written form
- Proven vocal and musical skill that is in line with Grace Church culture and expectations
- Some experience with the following industry software platforms (Planning Center Online, Ableton, ProPresenter)
- Solid time management skills
- Availability to work evening and weekend hours to support church events and services as needed
- Ability to lead in a fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Embrace and pursue creative and spiritual excellence
- Minimum 3 years leading worship with a team of 20 or more members in a modern church context of 1500+
