LMI seeks a skilled Program Manager to support a CBP PMO in the National Capital Region. Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated strong managerial experience organizing, planning, directing, and managing contractor staff to ensure that program goals and objectives are met
  • Foster positive working relationships with team, client personnel and leadership counterpart

  • Provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership for program excecution.

  • Lead the identification, selection and implementation of tool sets to support Program Management functions.

  • Consult with senior leadership, as needed, in support of the day-to-day operations.

  • Provide required team leadership and guidance, overall program management vision
  • Manage staffing requirements, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and execution

Qualifications
  • Bachelor s Degree or higher in business, management, finance or related discipline

  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience supporting DHS programs. Support to CBP strongly desired.

  • Professional certification in a relevant discipline such as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA or DHS Program Manager Level III Certified or equivalent.
  • Ability to effectively manage a large-scale project
  • Ability to effectively gather and validate requirements

  • Ability to effectively develop and review project schedules

  • Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of stakeholders orally and in writing

  • Possess technical and business writing skills

  • Possess the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment

  • Possess strong organizational skills to enable working with project teams, service providers and various stakeholders

  • Possess strong time management skills

  • Ability to think strategically

  • Ability to absorb and summarize complex issues toward resolution

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to collaborate well with others and build strong relationships

  • An active CBP Background Investigation is required.
