Job Description:


We are actively seeking a Land Surveying Project Manager to lead and manage land surveying projects for a diverse range of clients, with the support of a dedicated team of professionals.



Requirements:


  • Oversee land surveying projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Utilise expertise in land surveying to develop project proposals, including scope of work, cost estimates, and timelines, tailored to client requirements.
  • Lead the processing and analysis of laser scanning data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of results.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) projects, understanding and complying with their specific regulations and standards.
  • Conduct analysis of deeds and boundary work to determine property lines and resolve boundary disputes
  • Utilise knowledge and experience in using total stations for accurate measurements and data collection in the field.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to field surveying teams, ensuring that project objectives are met efficiently and accurately.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or challenges, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including records of survey data, reports, and correspondence.



Responsibilities:


  • Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in land surveying.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing project proposals and managing project budgets.
  • Familiarity with MTA projects and regulations is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of total stations and other surveying equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyse survey data accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in laser scanning processing software and techniques.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licence is a plus.
