Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday off Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday 5:00 PM - Completion.

Columbia Loaders make $24.87 per hour.

Main Ingredients of the Job!

As a US FOODS Loader you will be responsible for load all the outbound orders into the designated tractor trailers in compliance with company procedures and standards. This makes sure the drivers have the product safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency for the days deliveries.

Great Loaders are crucial to the US FOODS team and one of the important faces of our organization. Our Utility workers strives for integrity and reliability, while building trusting relationships with team members.

  • Conduct trailer inspection before loading to ensure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature and is ready for loading.
  • Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.
  • Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.
  • Load trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured. Also, confirm load diagram is completed and submitted.
  • Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.

What you bring to the table

Education/Training:

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Related Experience/Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year warehouse experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be pallet jack certified; Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to read load diagrams; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Comfortable working in a multi-temperature indoor/outdoor environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required
