Position Summary: Seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to contribute to the accomplishment of department productivity, quality, and delivery goals by supervising staff, organizing, and monitoring workflows.
Position Title: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor (Final Drive Assembly)
Location: Uxbridge, MA
Hours: 2nd Shift 3:30pm-1am
Potential Earnings: $65,000-$75,000 (Dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Coaching and providing technical expertise to resolve processing issues
- Creates and ensures corrective actions are implemented
- Insure the appropriate level of accountability for facility goals and objectives at the team leader and team member levels
- Monitor and take appropriate improvement actions in a timely manner to meet production quality and quantity goals
- Utilize problem solving techniques, team building strategies, process control, and continuous process improvement tools to meet or exceed the facility key operating statistics
- Conduct, lead, or implement the appropriate process audits; the audits will identify the need for appropriate containment, corrective and preventive actions, leading to minimizing or eliminating process deviations and non-conforming product root causes
- Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Qualifications Include:
Education:
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor s degree preferred
Experience:
- 3 years manufacturing experience with 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Demonstrated hands on experience in production manufacturing environment
- ISO 9000
- Statistical analysis (six sigma) experience preferred
- LEAN Manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficient in the use of Excel and Microsoft Word
- Proficient in SAP or similar ERP system
