Position Summary: Seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to contribute to the accomplishment of department productivity, quality, and delivery goals by supervising staff, organizing, and monitoring workflows.


Position Title: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor (Final Drive Assembly)

Location: Uxbridge, MA

Hours: 2nd Shift 3:30pm-1am

Potential Earnings: $65,000-$75,000 (Dependent on experience)


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coaching and providing technical expertise to resolve processing issues
  • Creates and ensures corrective actions are implemented
  • Insure the appropriate level of accountability for facility goals and objectives at the team leader and team member levels
  • Monitor and take appropriate improvement actions in a timely manner to meet production quality and quantity goals
  • Utilize problem solving techniques, team building strategies, process control, and continuous process improvement tools to meet or exceed the facility key operating statistics
  • Conduct, lead, or implement the appropriate process audits; the audits will identify the need for appropriate containment, corrective and preventive actions, leading to minimizing or eliminating process deviations and non-conforming product root causes
  • Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.


Qualifications Include:

Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • Bachelor s degree preferred

Experience:

  • 3 years manufacturing experience with 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated hands on experience in production manufacturing environment
  • ISO 9000
  • Statistical analysis (six sigma) experience preferred
  • LEAN Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Proficient in SAP or similar ERP system
