Full Time: M-F, Saturdays as scheduled



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Ensures teller area adheres to internal controls, internally developed audit, compliance & operational procedures

Identifies and keeps tellers informed of areas that provide potential risk or loss; such as counterfeit bills, forgeries, stolen checks, etc.

Oversees and supervises teller activities, including but not limited to: Monitoring tellers outages, cash limits, transaction numbers, cash orders, surprise cash counts, etc.

Coaches staff to achieve customer service, referral and performance goals

Schedules and oversees staff for effective use of work hours to increase productivity and mitigate overtime

Paying and receiving teller transactions for retail and commercial business

Opening and dispensing vault funds

Loading and balances ATM under dual control

Audit consignment items, night drop logs, and night drop agreements

Coach and develop teller team

Receives and processes multiple transactions with emphasis on accuracy

Promotes BancFirst services through cross selling banking products to new and existing clientele

Extraordinary customer service will be required at all times

Perform job related duties and special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

High School degree or equivalent

Strong customer service skills

1 year of Teller experience required

Prior supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to lead others preferred

Ability to motivate and coach staff

Knowledge of teller cash limits, teller machines, and preparation of teller work

Ability to balance teller cash and maintain acceptable balancing percentages as defined by Management

Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work various hours as assigned to meet the needs of the business (open/close branch) and follow security procedures

Ability to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlines

Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Constant use of computer screens

Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear

Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching

Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday


Long periods of typing and repetitive motion


Ability to lift and/or move and carry 10-25 pounds (cash canisters, coin boxes/bags)
