Electrical Engineer

Central Coast company is adding an Electrical Engineer to their growing team. The candidate will be able to design the next generation of high-speed, low-noise electronics for analytical instrumentation technologies under consideration. Responsibilities

• Embedded hardware, sensor/multi-protocol interfacing, and product design
• Analog and digital circuit design
• Debug issues relating to firmware, hardware, mobile app, and web
• Schematic design
• Printed Circuit board layout
• Work well with a small engineering team to research new technologies and find ways to
• incorporate them into new products
• Design, conduct and document experiments to evaluate new technologies
• Build support documentation to aid in production and sales
• Assist the production floor with hands on training and support
• Manage and create training protocols for repairs

Qualifications

• BSEE with 3+ years of experience
• Experience in embedded electronics with microcontroller assembly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with PCB design software (Eagle preferred)
• Knowledge or experience with environmental sensors
• Hands on experience building prototypes and troubleshooting
• Programming skills in Assembly, C, C++ preferred
