We are looking for an experienced Medicaid Consultant to join our team and help lead our growth efforts. Deep Medicaid experience is critical, as well as experience working with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the new streamlined modular certification (SMC) and outcomes-based certification (OBC). Our ideal Medicaid Consultant will provide oversight and direction for scope, schedule, , quality, , communications, risk, and , stakeholder management activities, all while adding deep Medicaid and Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) experience and thought leadershipSpecific Responsibilities:Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of Medicaid, CMS, SMC/OBC, and MESConduct Medicaid System AssessmentsHelp states plan for and execute SMC/OBC activitiesHelp lead and provide expert level guidance on various projectsEnsure planned results are achieved on timeWork with clients, vendors, team members to establish and achieve project goalsAddress problems through risk management and contingency planningPlan, organize, execute, and monitor and control project activitiesPerform project assessments and report on project progressFacilitate meetings and present project informationIdentify, document, and/or escalate issues to appropriate levels**Qualifications**Required Skills/Experience:Bachelor s degree or equivalent university degree5+ years experience performing project oversight and assessments for a large enterprise grade information technology initiative4+ years experience performing performance metrics measurements and reporting to management and executive level staff.Demonstrated experience working with SMC/OBCDemonstrated written and verbal communications skillsAbility to influence internal and external stakeholdersAbility to lead/manage others in a matrixed environmentProficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) and project management toolsAbility to understand both the service delivery system for programs which are administered by states and monitored by federal regulators.Ability to understand and be an expert in complex federal regulations and requirements.Strong Microsoft Office applications skills, especially data analytics (i.e. ACCESS, SQL, SPSS)Ability to use sound judgment in completing tasks and to seek guidance when needed.Attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets with accurate results.Ability to move projects forward within a specific timeline and budget while working at a detailed level.Commitment to exceptional client service.Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mindset.Dedication to accomplishing goals and challenges presented by clients and management.Ability to interact with various levels of management and with clients.Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity.Enthusiasm for life-long learning and staying well-informed about current business issues.Able to follow, critically evaluate, and improve upon current processes.Excellent business writing skills and ability to make presentations to various audiences.Ability to recognize issues and identify solutions.Education: Bachelor s degree or 5 years experience required and Master s degree (MPA or government focused MBA) preferredExperience: 5+ years of relevant work experienceThis position is remote with travel/onsite requirements. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $100,000-120,000 and a potential discretionary bonus of up to 15%.
