About the Role and Company:
This is a full-time Project Engineer position located in the Maryland/DC-Baltimore area within an experienced solar power generation company that offers complete, turn-key services - developing, owning, and operating commercial and community solar systems.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects so they reach commercial operation, oversee 3rd parties (manage contract and scope), negotiate and work with utilities, review all submittals for electrical equipment, run energy production model using PVsyst, and manage documents (SharePoint and Salesforce).
This is what they are looking for:
-At least 3 years of experience in commercial or utility scale engineering (solar preferred; MEP and/or electrical distribution experience welcomed)
-Strong project management/admin experience
-Have a desire to work in the solar industry
-Strong understanding of national electrical code
-Understand medium voltage equipment
-Have overseen and managed multi-million-dollar scale projects
-Ability to come into their Maryland office 5 days a week
