Job Details

Above Green is looking for a market development / business development professional to accelerate the evolution of an established green building industry based subscription platform that will soon become a part of the company s portfolio of services.


This person will have the creative opportunity to freshly analyze, conceptualize, and optimize an existing (brand name recognized) subscription based service that currently serves over 800 loyal individual and corporate customers in the green building space.


Experience Requirements


  • 5+ years experience in a senior marketing or bd position
  • 5+ years experience with subscription / membership services
  • Demonstrable interest in the sustainability field


Responsibilities


1. Insights & Analysis


Take a fresh look at the existing historical data for the service and use a combination of market analysis, customer analysis, customer surveys, and professional experience to develop insights about the product s unique value proposition.


2. Ideas & Solutions


Using the unique value proposition and taking into account our parent company s strengths and business drivers develop one or more conceptual solutions to optimize the subscription business potential. Those solutions will provide clear parameters for pricing, and define potential strategic campaigns for the product in terms of customer acquisition, onboarding, service, retention, win-back, and in channel sales.


3. Testing & Development


The winning strategies will be incorporated into the platform and related systems. This stage may include rebranding, reorganizing or expanding the platform, and developing new features. The Director will work with separate graphic design, front-end, and back-end developers to upgrade and transform the platform in accordance with the solutions.


4. Implementation


In this stage, the Director will implement the go-to-market strategy and campaign plan for the revamped platform including coordination with the company s sales and project team for outreach, service fulfillment, and other tasks required for the plan's execution. This could include being a leader-doer within outbound sales, trade-show events, or other channels in order to test the hypotheses of the growth plan.


5. Operation & Optimization


The Director will define, monitor, and improve the critical KPIs for the product, coordinate with the sales team, and report to the team s leadership on a regular basis.


6. Budget Management


The Director will be fully responsible for the budget for this product including the spends for digital marketing, physical marketing, product development, and sales acquisition.


7. Learning & Education


The company will support the Director s pursuit of two industry specific qualifications:


  • LEED GA or LEED AP


Pay


Up to $120,000/year
