THE ROLE:

As part of the Expereo People team, this role will support the US region, specifically the Reston office which comprises of around c. 50-60 employees, across the organization functions of Technology, IT, Product, Supplier Relations Management, Sales and Service & Delivery delivering global annual revenues.

The role supports the People function within the organization, with a focus on implementing key initiatives to accelerate growth and build a winning culture, with a specific focus on organizational effectiveness, culture and engagement, performance management, talent development, coaching and building effective leadership teams, and capability development.

This role will report into the Global HR Director and will also lead on people plan initiatives across the Business HR team, including HR operating model transformation, Diversity & Inclusion, building culture in our communication approach to align with the company's goals and objectives.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports Management Team based in US to implement key initiatives to accelerate growth and build a winning culture.
  • Support locally based team leaders and managers in developing and implementing people plans that support the achievement of the business strategy and ensure that people plans are integrated with wider HR strategy, policies & priorities.
  • Provides feedback and coaching to the business area s management team to improve leadership capability, and ensure all leaders & people managers are equipped to drive employee engagement.
  • Drive effective and best-in-class on-boarding, performance management & talent development, skills & capability development and succession planning to attract and retain diverse talent.
  • Leads on the people engagement and culture plan for Expereo, supporting and embedding plans that enhance the employee experience.
  • Advocates & supports the use of the HR operating model, acting as role model and facilitator to ensure business areas adhere to, and HR deliver to agreed service.
  • Supports Global HR Operations team, ensuring HR policies, processes, compensation & benefits (pension, health insurance, gratifications) etc. are up to date and conform country rules and regulations.
  • Report on internal (personnel) data.
  • Participate in (international) HR projects as and when appropriate.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Demonstrable HR experience, ideally in a Business Partner capacity supporting stakeholder strategically.
  • International experience from an IT or Telecommunications company background is an advantage.
  • A degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Excellent command of the English language and persuasive communication skills
  • Understanding of US labor law, regulatory compliance and best practices. Ability to work well at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong relationship building, culturally sensitive and influencing.
  • Analytical, intellectual capacity and desire to learn.
  • Excellent Team player you will be an integral part of our international HR team.
  • Experience working closely with a Management Team, and with a high standard of discretion and integrity.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook), experience with HRIS and other HR-related systems.
