Human Resource Information System Manager

Solomon Page is recruiting for an HRMS Manager for a great healthcare client. The HRMS manager will lead and manage the technology portfolio across HR and facilitate collaboration within the HR team and across the organization to guide business strategy through data. This includes managing enterprise HR initiatives through planning, development, launch, stabilization, and debrief facilitation; while ensuring on-time delivery, in scope, budget adherence, and quality performance. Also responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing HR systems and process improvement solutions, and delivery of service that optimizes employees experience, alignment with organizational goals and support of future growth, integration of data for analytical insights, and driving HR operational excellence.


Responsibilities:


  • Utilize project management methods and standards as well as the coordination of all internal and external resources to manage cross-functional projects and initiatives involving HR s technology portfolio
  • Manage project roadmap and keep track of progress by updating schedule/timeline, informing key stakeholders and team members of next steps and responsibilities, setting up meeting agendas, and circulating meeting notes
  • Provide transparent and timely reporting to all stakeholders. Ensure project sponsors and stakeholders are regularly engaged for input. Manage and escalate project risks and issues as appropriate, communicate corresponding mitigation plans, and establish success metrics for projects and ensure project performance is tracked and measured
  • Lead and influence with best practices and proven methodologies for process improvement, scalability, and automation to support long-term growth
  • Investigate ways to improve existing processes and fix pain points through automation, streamlining, and program delivery
  • Serve as HR technology portfolio lead for the design, implementation, delivery, evaluation, security, compliance, and maintenance of all HR systems
  • Optimize the use of HR tools, drive HR process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility and employee experience. Research and recommend changes for new or modified systems, equipment, and software to meet changing requirements
  • Drive adoption, communication, and change management of systems changes and/or new system launches across HR
  • Oversees HR reporting and analytics for the organization. Develop repository of HR data, including dashboards of key metrics, to ensure regular access to critical information is available to key stakeholders in support of strategic decision-making initiatives and for ongoing measurement and continual improvement
  • Ensure HR operations audits and control processes are developed and followed in compliance with federal and state regulations and internal policies and procedures
  • Create end-user knowledge/content framework and ensure development and maintenance of all supporting content including process documentation, quick reference guides, FAQs, training material etc.
  • Ensure internal tools are aligned and providing accurate data to best capture customer concerns and comments
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, and/or related certification
  • Minimum of five years of HRMS and project management experience
  • Experience working with data interoperability across systems and an understanding of data ecosystems
  • Knowledge of HR best practices in the market as well as legislative and regulatory changes and experience implementing technology solutions to support compliance requirements
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, SDLC, and similar methodologies
  • Experience with Cognos Business Intelligence, Excel, Tableau or other reporting tool
  • Proficiency with administration of HRMS such as Ultipro, Workday, or Success Factors
  • Proficiency with Access or other databases
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to changing priorities as needed
