**YOU** You want to be an important member of a strong team of other makers who take pride in their work and support each other. As an Associate Packer, you will be responsible for assembling and packing products and accessories in boxes. This is a full-time position Friday through Sunday 6am to 6:30pm with overtime as needed. **WHAT YOULL BE DOING** (% of Time)
Assemble, label and pack correctly, various products and accessory items as directed on a daily basis. (85%)
Maintain work area to 6S standards. (10%)
Maintain mandatory training requirements . (5%)
**DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
If you can do everything listed above, youve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
* Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
* Mathematical Reasoning: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Reading Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Analysis/Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form,
* Safety: Ability to consistently prioritize safety by demonstrating a safe work practice by promoting a safe work environment.
* Quality: Ability to follow both written and oral instructions, including safety guidelines, work instructions, and company policies.
* Ability to Work Independently: Ability to follow both written and oral instructions, including safety guidelines, work instructions, and company policies.
**TRAVEL REQUIRED**
This job does not require travel.
**WORK STATUS & LOCATION**
This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Columbus, OH.
**RELOCATION**
Relocation is not available for this position.
