And submit proof of identity and employment eligibility.Job Description: Operates dump truck, weed eater, chainsaw and other hand tools. Assists in the repair of roads and culverts. Assists in winter weather operations, sign repair and replacement. Responsible to place barricades and signs at designated locations. Assists in emergency storm operations and performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of this position. Must have valid Driver's License and automobile insurance. CDL preferred at the time of application or must obtain within six months of date of hire. Knowledge of Kansas City, KS streets is preferred. Must have the ability to operate two-way radio, stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, carry, and drag objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work with exposure to noise. Ability to analyze work conditions, recognize safety hazards and correctly respond.
