Role Overview
Our client is seeking experienced and innovative General Manager to lead our residential design team in Sarasota, FL. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the design process, from concept through completion, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Inspire and lead the design team, fostering creativity and a culture of excellence.
- GM and Store Management: Manage the entire design process for residential projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Team Management: Mentor and guide the store support and residential design team, promoting professional growth and collaboration.
- Design Strategy: Develop strategies that align with our vision, continuously enhancing the quality of our residential projects.
- Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to transform their vision into compelling design solutions.
- Collaboration: Ensure coordination with cross-functional teams for seamless project delivery.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage budgets and resources effectively, aligning with departmental and company goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in interior design, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years in a GM role with significant residential design experience.
- Leadership experience in a design firm or luxury retail setting.
- Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Exceptional design skills and a diverse portfolio of residential projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
