Baptist Medical Center is currently hiring an Cardiovascular Invasive Intern to our Cardiology Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, located in Jacksonville, FL.

This is a PRN, day shift opportunity. As a Cardiovascular Invasive Intern, you'll play a vital role in supporting our invasive cardiovascular technologists during heart catheterization and peripheral cases. We are looking for a student who is 1 year into their into the Cardiovascular Program.ThisInvasive Cardiovascular Intern will transition to Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist post graduation and successful passing of the National Registry for Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS). Transition must be successful within 3 months of graduation.This Cardiovascular Invasive Intern Responsibilities include:Invasive Cardiovascular Intern will assist the invasive cardiovascular technologist in providing care during a heart cath or peripheral case.Under direct supervision of a credentialed technologist and the performing physicians the invasive cardiology intern will assist with scrubbing and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures.The Cardiovascular Intern will assist with supply management in the heart center.The Invasive Cardiovascular Inter will be in their final rotation in an approved college program for Cardiovascular Technologist.They will be in good standing in the program.This Invasive Cardiovascular Intern opportunity will be located at Baptist Jacksonville.
