****Position Summary****
POSITION SUMMARY
Warehouse Associate: Assures the movement of material from the warehouse to the production area, and the return of unused material to the warehouse. Receives and shipping of commodities from vendors and ensures accurate inventory. Warehouse associate is responsible for all QA requirements.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Maintain proper safety regarding movement of products and operating a tow motor. Change battery on electric truck as needed. Operate a tow-motor, electric hoist and hand operated crane or hoist. Regular and timely attendance per company guidelines. Check production schedule to determine amount of product to deliver to production lines. Transport material from storage or production. Follows line schedules and pulls product as needed. Check work orders or supervisors instructions regarding material to be moved. Supplies and returns products to and from the production floor. Using computer keyboard, monitor screen for pick up and deliver needed item on the production floor. Mark product/material with identifying information per company guidelines. Load or unload material into or from pallets and shelves. Load material onto a truck. Organization of storage areas to ensure both space for receiving and set up materials for production supply. Transport material on or off of a trailer. Key in the material type, the date, weight, and number of units taken off of trailer. Document material moved by date, weight, and number of units. Ensure accurate scanning of product into inventory. Enter amount, location and tag number of product. Key tally sheet information into the computer on the tow motor. Check daily receiving log to coordinate time and location of trailers to be unloaded. Maintain proper safety regarding movement of products and operating a moving vehicle. Maintain cleanliness of the work area and hygiene per company guidelines. Other duties may be assigned including working in other warehouse roles.
