We are actively seeking two experienced ServiceNow System Administrators to join our team.

Role Description

The ServiceNow System Administrator will serve an essential client in the healthcare sector.

The Service Now System Administrator is responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, installing, and deploying technologies and providing ongoing optimization of the ServiceNow application platform and related information technologies.

This position will develop and apply expertise by designing and interacting with information service (IS) departments. Responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions within ServiceNow, including architecting technical implementations of IT and business processes, and coordinating those efforts with IT Management and other administrators. Participates in loading, manipulating, and maintaining data between ServiceNow and other systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a point of escalation for the IT Service Management ServiceNow team.
  • Ensures system stability, integrity, and compliance. Ensure quality of work and serve as a technical resource.
  • Develop ServiceNow software solutions and Service Portal pages using one or more Web Services.
  • Analyze, understand, and provide requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications. Advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Workflow Activities, etc.
  • Provides advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting, fixing bugs, and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Facilitate and support the rollout of new applications and enhancements in ServiceNow.
  • Advise functional and administrative teams on design, development, and overall ServiceNow best practices.
  • Works with functional and admin teams to deliver automated workflow solutions in ServiceNow.

Required experience and Skills

  • At least 3 years of direct experience and a BA/BS degree in a technical field or equivalent preferred.
  • 1- 2 years of experience in ServiceNow development, including scripting, configuring, customizing ServiceNow, and other application development in an enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant web technologies.
  • 2 3 years of experience in service management.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, self-driven, proven team player and team builder.
  • Communication Skills. Responsible for writing fundamental documentation clearly and concisely, adhering to standards, and effectively sharing knowledge within the work team.
  • Attention to detail - conscious that quality is about the details.
  • Exceptional customer service skills. Effectively works with customers on a continuing basis to understand and explain business issues, respond to user problems, explain new technologies, and present deliverables.
  • Analytical Skills. Analyzes a chain of events and applies knowledge following established procedures.

Required certifications

  • ITILv3 or ITIL4 Foundations Certification required
  • Relevant Information Technology certifications are preferred.
  • ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) Certification preferred
  • ServiceNow Production Implementation Certification preferred
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) preferred


Working Model

This position is hybrid, requiring on-site attendance at least twice a week.
