About our Client: Our client is a multi-dealership RV & Powersports operation with two locations in East Texas, and another in Southeast Oklahoma. They sell premier RV brands, Polaris Powersports vehicles, a selection of LSVs and Golf Carts from leading OEMs. They are seeking an experienced RV Service Technician to improve efficiency and quality of performance in the Service department.
Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced RV Technician who can leverage their knowledge and expertise to improve Service operations in their dealership group. Ideally this person has 4+ years of experience working on RVs from premier OEMs in the dealership setting. This person will be responsible for effective intake, troubleshooting/diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of RV s and will be expected to communicate effectively with customers.
Area Information: If you are passionate about the outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping, and the like, each location for these opportunities presents plenty of recreational opportunities in the vicinity. With an abundance of lakes, rivers, and a national forest being just a short drive away, there are endless options for outdoor activities. This area of TX is 5% lower cost of living than the rest of the state, and this area of OK is 10% lower in cost of living compared to the rest of the state.

Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose all mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical issues.
- Maintain and repair all aspects of fifth wheels, travel trailers, and toy haulers, as well as all appliances and fixtures associated with the vehicle.
- Perform detail oriented intake and documentation of all RVs upon arrival, during diagnosis and service, and upon returning to the customer.
- Maintain frequent communication and collaborate with Parts, Service, Warranty, and Management.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections.
- Safely and efficiently execute all documentation and action required for effective warranty processing, ensuring compliance to specs from the OEMs.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience through frequent and honest communication, and detail oriented documentation.
- Maintain compliance with all SOPs and regulatory compliance standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for employees and customers.
- Attend staff meetings and continuing education initiatives as directed.
Criteria for Consideration:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RV Technician in the dealership setting.
- Must be able to effectively inspect vehicles, diagnose issues, list parts needed, and estimate time needed for unit repairs.
- RVTI certification preferred but not required based on experience.
- Must have a thorough understanding for Powersports dealership operations, including Parts, Service, and Warranty.
- Basic experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other trade oriented work.
- Must be detail oriented, customer-centric, and professional in appearance and behavior.
- Must be computer literate.
