They are currently seeking a Warehouse Operator to join their dynamic team and contribute to their ongoing success.


The Warehouse Operator primary responsibilities include picking, packing, and loading material following established procedures and quality standards using standard warehouse equipment. They are responsible for participating in continuous improvement activities, providing feedback to management on process and safety.

Focus:

  • Picking, packing, and loading materials in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and providing feedback on process and safety enhancements.
  • Ensure designated housekeeping areas are clean and safe, contributing to overall warehouse organization and efficiency.
  • Receive orders, picking, packing, and staging using scanning tools.
  • Load shipments safely onto trucks and communicate shipment information effectively.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage and reporting as necessary.
  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks.
  • Standardize procedures to enhance the efficiency of shipping and receiving functions.
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and company guidelines to ensure compliance.

Skill Set:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience preferred, ideally in the steel or tubing industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong mathematical skills including the ability to perform basic calculations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn internal business applications.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety standards.
  • Must be able to obtain forklift certification and dock leveler training within the first week of employment.
