A rapidly growing EPC company are looking for a Solar Project Manager. This business has grown exponentially in the past seven years and now have a portfolio of over 200 PV solar Projects, valued at over $200 million and have a headcount of just over 100.
This is a pivotal role, you will oversee the complete life cycle of PV projects from initial contract negotiation to final permission to operate. You will collaborate alongside Sales, Engineering, Logistics, and Constructions teams and ensure seamless project execution.
You will have the opportunity to lead a team of Project Managers as you progress through the company. They are likely to hire another 3 PMs to report into you over the next 12 months.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the project plan, ensuring successful project execution throughout all stages, from sales and engineering to construction and utility approval.
- Foster strong client relationships, pricing regular updates to both external customers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage project schedules meticulously, issuing regular progress reports and addressing any concerns.
We are looking for someone with a background similar to:
- A minimum of two years as a Project Manager (ideally 3-5 years)
- Familiar with PV project life cycle, including contract interpretation and construction document analysis.
- A valid drivers license and a willingness to commute to job sites
- Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or NABCEP PV associate
