Overview
Under direct supervision, using standard processes and continuous improvements, the assembler assembles couplings in a timely an efficient manner that meet the quality standards to ensure the delivery of world-class products to Tyler Coupling customers. All Team Members will be trained on various manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Assembler: Entry level up to 1 year experience and assemble at least a minimum of 160 couplings per hour.Ability to meet or exceed minimum production rate.Requires good manual dexterity.Able to work on a stationary assembly line.Must have ability to work at a Conveyor Belt and/or Conveyor Rollers.Must verify the quality of work and cross train on all machines as Team Members will be rotated on a daily basis.Use Shear Cutters to remove eyelet.Responsible for production, quality of product and documentation of daily production numbers.Follow supervisor instructions at all times.Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.Qualifications
High School Diploma preferred.Six months of related manufacturing experience.Ability to sit or stand for periods of 8 plus hours a day.Repetitive grasping and gripping with hands.Regulary required to bend, lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds.
