Job Details
The R&D Engineer will be responsible for planning, conducting and managing their research and development projects. They will work closely with the engineering team to develop new products and adapt current ones based on customer needs and future technologies.
This person will work with materials such as polymers, metallic and ceramics to strengthen and develop new materials suitable for the relevant industry restrictions. The R&D Engineer will support the engineering members of staff in the analysis and investigation of problems; and from this look to develop a resolution.
This business in electrical and electronic engineering manufacturing all made to measure products for their customer needs. They products are being used across aerospace, defense, semiconductors, consumer electronics and more.
Key Experience Required
- Proven experience in developing and designing new products.
- Experience in research and development.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering
- Some Electrical circuit knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with multiple materials such as glass, ceramics, metals, plastics and composites.
