Packaging Forklift Operator - Rotating 12 Hour Day & Night Shift - Waynesville - $20.00
PrideStaff is recruiting for a Packaging Forklift Operator for Day & Night Shift - for a manufacturing company located in Waynesville.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transport supersacks from the plant to the warehouse
- Transport pallets of bags from the palletizer to the warehouse
- Follow packaging instructions for both supersacks and bags as defined in the SCR, or by management
- Tie supersacks, as needed by production demands
- Operate pallet wrapping machinery
- Print pallet labels from the company system accurately, and on pace with production
- Complete batch record paperwork as needed
- Operate the super-sacker scales
- Keep work area clean, and free of salt and debris
- Operate both the automatic and manual wrappers
- Perform basic trouble shooting for the label printer
- Maintain an accurate and complete forklift safety log
- Follow all safety procedures
- Monitor alarm panel, and notify appropriate personnel, if alarm occurs
- Maintain a stock of slip sheets and pallets, as needed
- Keep the palletizer stocked with slip sheets and pallets
Qualifications and Requirements:- Previous high-volume manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read/write (English) and interpret numerical sequences and identify lot numbers
- Good communicate skills
- Ability to lift, push/pull up to 45 pounds consistently and stand constantly and work in repetitive operations.
- The ability to be forklift certified

Hours of Work: Rotating Day & Night 12 Hour Shift - (7:00am-7:00pm) & (7:00pm-7:00am)
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
