Bend, ORPrideStaff, a firm specializing in recruiting for Central Oregon businesses, is seeking a Swing Shift Shipping and Receiving Associate for a local fermentation company in Bend, OR. The ideal candidate for this position is a detail oriented, has high attention to detail, and experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving. The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for outbound distributor shipments, receiving materials, organization, inventory, and material transfers to support all departments' processes within the company.The schedule for this role is Monday-Thursday 3:30p-2:00a, $19-21/hr DOE. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Work safely and be actively engage in site safety programsMove materials in support of all operations, this includes raw materials, finished goods, and waste(s).Prepare materials for production's use.Efficiently organize raw materials and the organization and rotation of finished goods.Keep warehouse and production floor safe, clean and free of debris, prepare lines at shift change and stocked for incoming shift.Unload and receive raw materials and shipments.Complete all necessary paperwork (i.e. tickets and orders), read and understand specifications for all products. Also, able to read and understand production schedule and Materials Lists.Interface with maintenance personnel to assist in resolving equipment/process problems on a daily basis, and assist supervisory team.Works in compliance with Food Safety Management System and GMP'sCommunicate product shortages to the warehouse manager. Work across departments to fulfill customer orders.Communicate frequently with other team members to ensure all critical work is being completed.RESPONSIBILITIES:Champion the company culture and valuesEmbrace, practice and support company policies, SOP's, Good Manufacturing PracticesMaintain constructive working relationships with employees and other department headsQUALIFICATIONSStrong communication skillsSome warehouse experience preferredStrong interpersonal skillsPerform the responsibilities of Warehouse Forklift Driver/Loader.Forklift Operator CertificationLANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Computer literacy -skills needed for Microsoft programs including creation and manipulation of Excel Spreadsheets, our production schedule and OBEERMATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00 - $21.00 Per
