Job Title: Part-Time School Nurse (LPN) for the new school year Location: Boulder, CO Start Date: August 14th End Date: May 22nd Hours: Part-time, 16 hours per week Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday; 11:00 am 3:00 pm Caseload: 1:1 with an 18-year-old boy with significant seizures Onsite position Requirements: Candidate must have experience in seizure care and overall neurological nursing Current LPN, or LVN licensure in the state of Colorado CPR certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Compensation: LPN/LVN: $26+ per hour Description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced nurse to join our school community in Boulder, CO, for the upcoming school year. This part-time position involves providing one-on-one care to an 18-year-old student with significant seizure needs. The nurse will work closely with the student, school staff, and healthcare providers to ensure the student's safety and well-being during school hours. Responsibilities: Monitor the student's health and well-being during school hours Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Provide seizure care and support as needed Communicate regularly with the student's healthcare team, parents, and school staff Maintain accurate and confidential medical records Educate school staff on seizure management and emergency procedures Why Contract with Spindle?
