Responsibilities:
(40 hours per week, M-F 9:00-6:00)
Work week is split into two main areas of responsibility:
- In office to coordinate with Production & Tech Design team
- In swimwear and apparel sewing factories in LA and surrounding area, checking production schedules & quality
Acute attention to fine details.
Hit tight deadlines
Post final receipts into inventory and RM receipts into A2000 system
Reconcile factory invoices to be approved by Production Manager.
Set up all Style Masters in ERP system each season: generate UPC codes, add sketches, colors, and sizes
Maintain a WIP report for status of outstanding POs for factory and embroidery orders
Monitor and organize RM inventories at each factory to keep production moving smoothly
Assist factories in securing all cuts and trims quickly from cutting service
Coordinate with Technical Designer and Production Manager to schedule their QC check for each production cut
Perform frequent production status / QC checks to ensure production is running on time and meets specifications
Help factories maintain and organize all tech packs, specs, and accessories needed to keep production moving smoothly
Move materials between factories as needed and alert production team if inventories are low
Check, pack, and ship completed product to our Kansas City warehouse / customer service office
Manage UPC code / barcode sticker prep and usage
Assist Technical Designer and Production Manger with all sales sample sewing
Prep apparel and swim samples for photoshoots and sales representatives
Manage weekly communication between factories and management
Assist with some embroidery order shipping.
Experience / Skills / Education:
Associate degree or equivalent experience in related field
Careful and exacting with detailed responsibilities
Demonstrates organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate with factory managers, production managers, office staff, and customers
Bilingual a plus, but not required.
2+ years of experience working in garment industry or entry level production, preferable both
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to quickly learn A2000 ERP software
Ability and willingness to lift 40 pounds
Must have valid driver's license
