Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Position Overview: We are in search of a proficient Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing various packaging systems including Laser Guided Vehicles (AVGs) and robotics. Proficiency in PLCs, HMIs, and motor drives is required, along with a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and report any non-compliance, as well as prioritize safety protocols.


This opportunity begins with the second shift schedule.


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience in Industrial Maintenance within the Food and Beverage Industry.
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Proficiency in pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of equipment, including case sealers, conveyors, balers, and robotics.
  • Knowledge of HMIs, motor drives, and PLCs for troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and various tools safely.
  • Physical capability to perform duties such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and equipment drawings.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and repairs on electrical and mechanical production equipment.
  • Identify malfunctions and defects in automation equipment.
  • Adhere to corporate policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Efficiently manage time and complete assigned tasks.
  • Report damages and defects to the supervising manager.
  • Work independently or collaboratively as required.
  • Utilize our CMMS System for tracking maintenance activities.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and report non-compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety rules and assist in enforcement.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
