Fleet Maintenance - Seasonal Worker 2024 (Open Positions: 2)Department: Public FacilitiesJob Status: Part-TimeStatus: Accepting Applications Apply NowJob AdvertisementThe City of Aurora is seeking applicants for seasonal job positions in the Fleet Maintenance Division. Positions are available from approximately April through October.Duties include but are not limited to vehicle hiking, facility cleaning and maintenance, inventory organization, general maintenance, painting; Other maintenance work and manual labor as assigned. May operate powered equipment and vehicles.Applicants must be at least 18 years old by start date and possess a valid Illinois Driver's License. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background investigation.The hourly wage is $18.90 - $22.55/hour, depending on qualifications.Employees generally will work from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.
