**Description**
ConMet - Canton, NC location has a great opportunity for the Inventory Control Supervisor position. The individual will lead the inventory control team and take steps to drive continuous improvement related to accuracy and better processes of inventory control.
**What you will do:**
* Monitor all cycle count programs, identify operational problems in inventory and recommend resolutions to recurring reasons of inventory discrepancies.
* Maintain records of all variances according to established procedures and ensure accuracy of all product transfers from one facility to other.
* Prepare and update all required paperwork for vendor products and ensure accuracy in all inventories and resolve any issues as necessary.
* Monitor all procurement requests of facilities and ensure accuracy in all inbound inventory.
* Monitor and ensures accuracy of all inventory transactions and maintain records of all stockroom locations.
* Monitor and coordinates process for obsolete/excess parts.
* Analyze and provide reports for daily inventory results.
* Effectively manage employee performance and development processes to include training, performance feedback, corrective action administration, addressing employee concerns and improving employee relations.
* Train employees and staff in all inventory control processes and update processes if required.
* Monitor all inventory control processes and document all procedures to maintain all equipment and tools used by inventory control department.
* Handle inventory adjustments with system research and analysis prior to adjusting the inventory in the system. Handle part to part transactions.
**What You Will Need to be Successful:**
* Two year college degree in Business or a related discipline preferred.
* Minimum three years of related experience in a high pace production environment.
* Strong working knowledge of SAP and reporting capabilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
* Strong analytical background.
* Strong leadership and process improvement background.
