SUMMARY: Our client is an industry leading manufacturer. As Production Supervisor, you will ensure an open positive work environment that promotes team success. Your primary responsibilities will include safety, quality, productivity, and process improvement. In addition, you will be a change agent in this fast paced, 24/7, ever evolving, and challenging environment.


Production Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the production process of making PVC extruded products.
  • Create a culture that promotes safety as a top priority.
  • Perform root cause problem-solving through the use of the 5-Why approach.
  • Drive continuous improvement and constantly evaluate the current staff's productivity to optimize production efficiency.
  • Complete timely and accurate reports and paperwork required on shift activities and performance.
  • Responsible for the development, training, and coaching of staff, setting individual and team goals for staff, and providing continuous feedback.
  • Attend and contribute to relevant meetings as required.
  • Responsible for production operations in the plant during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure setups and changeovers on extruders and will be responsible for the product.
  • Conduct timely annual reviews and evaluations of staff.


Production Supervisor Required Experience:

  • A progressive career that demonstrates continual skill development in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with and understanding automated extrusion production lines is preferred.
  • Candidates must have prior experience in overseeing industrial operations in manufacturing, demonstrate professional supervisory abilities, and exhibit a collaborative team-oriented approach.
  • Associate degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
