SUMMARY: Our client is an industry leading manufacturer. As Production Supervisor, you will ensure an open positive work environment that promotes team success. Production Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own the production process of making PVC extruded products.
- Create a culture that promotes safety as a top priority.
- Perform root cause problem-solving through the use of the 5-Why approach.
- Drive continuous improvement and constantly evaluate the current staff's productivity to optimize production efficiency.
- Complete timely and accurate reports and paperwork required on shift activities and performance.
- Responsible for the development, training, and coaching of staff, setting individual and team goals for staff, and providing continuous feedback.
- Attend and contribute to relevant meetings as required.
- Responsible for production operations in the plant during assigned shifts.
- Ensure setups and changeovers on extruders and will be responsible for the product.
- Conduct timely annual reviews and evaluations of staff.
Production Supervisor Required Experience:
- A progressive career that demonstrates continual skill development in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with and understanding automated extrusion production lines is preferred.
- Candidates must have prior experience in overseeing industrial operations in manufacturing, demonstrate professional supervisory abilities, and exhibit a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Associate degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
