Our partner is seeking a driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset to excel in the role of Sales Representative. In this position, you will play a crucial role in meeting and exceeding sales objectives within the assigned territory. By utilizing professional sales techniques, providing top-notch customer service, fostering lasting customer relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of the company, you will make a significant impact.


Responsibilities:


  • Promote mission, goals, and objectives, ensuring that all efforts contribute to these overarching aims.
  • Develop, boost, and monitor sales revenue to not only meet but surpass assigned objectives.
  • Cultivate new business opportunities through various channels such as prospecting, cold calling, networking, telemarketing, and referrals, aiming for a minimum of 35 sales calls per week (7 calls per day).
  • Classify and prioritize accounts as "A," "B," and "C" based on potential sales and profits.
  • Create a monthly plan for conducting sales calls with new and key customers within the territory.
  • Provide timely follow-ups with customers to deliver exceptional customer service, meticulously documenting all necessary follow-up procedures.
  • Accurately document sales activities using appropriate technological resources.
  • Participate in industry trade shows to generate new leads and maintain fruitful relationships with existing clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to identify potential avenues for growth.
  • Share competitive insights with Regional Sales and Operations Managers, as well as Business Group Directors.
  • Consistently maintain pricing levels for the assigned customer base.
  • Conduct all business activities ethically, adhering to all company policies and procedures.


Experience:


  • 3-5+ years of sales experience in industrial distribution (or adjacent industry), with a solid understanding of product/service offering.
  • Must be a "hunter" open to "farming"
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively and professionally, while also addressing customer inquiries and needs.
  • Proficient in PC and software skills, utilizing technology to enhance efficiency and streamline communication. Proficiency in tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and various Customer Relations Management (CRM) software is desirable.
