Job Summary:

Under limited supervision, the Product Manager is responsible for providing market leading product excellence by driving product vision, roadmap and competitive product positioning and when needed target assortments based on the needs of the consumer and market to accelerate profitable growth and product differentiation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • for delivering profitable product growth for assigned product lines.
  • and executes vision and strategic roadmap for product lines.
  • as the Subject Matter Expert for product lines.
  • product launches from idea to market with excellence.
  • and shares with senior leadership annual product line review recommendations.
  • and evaluates product change impacts.
  • market variables and develops point of view on how this will impact our business or adjustments we need to make to our strategy.
  • with cross functional teams to identify and drive product differentiation to market.
  • with Sales and eCommerce teams to uniquely position our products in the market to maximize the needs of our customer and consumer by channel.
  • for accurate product master data, classification, interchanges, and feature & benefit claims.
  • product line performance, quantifying areas of opportunities.
  • with Brand marketing to drive messaging and positioning of our products in the market.
  • related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience automotive aftermarket a plus
  • Effective communicator (oral and written)
  • Project Management experience
  • Proven track record of collaborating and working with a cross-functional team
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to think outside the box
  • Able to work independently with proper levels of prioritization and follow through
  • Ability to multi-task while being detail oriented
  • Proven analytical capability
  • Ability to travel up to 25%


Work Environment:

  • Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.
  • Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 20+ lbs.
  • Prolonged use of personal computer & telephone.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
