Sales Representative - Industrial & Manufacturing

Our client is currently searching for a Sales Representative to become a part of their team in Greater Cleveland, OH. The primary focus of this role will be on the Industrial and Manufacturing Sector. The position plays a critical role in fulfilling their dedication to promoting the Energy Transition, resulting in an excellent prospect for individuals who are enthusiastic about this industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting prospecting activities within the Industrial and Manufacturing market sector, which includes key account management, project presentations, and new business development
  • Engaging in both face-to-face and remote sales activities to target new customers and nurture cross-selling, upselling, and repeat sales to existing customers
  • Gaining an understanding of customer needs and providing recommendations for suitable products, services, or solutions
  • Creating and delivering sales bids, proposals, and presentations, as well as conducting product demonstrations
  • Developing medium to long-term sales plans and strategizing to strengthen and diversify relationships with targeted customers
  • Formulating and implementing an annual territory sales plan


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must have 4-7 years of direct sales or technical sales experience
  • Must possess a comprehensive understanding of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, energy storage, and load banks
  • Previous experience in Industrial or Manufacturing sectors is required
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, is preferred
  • Must have a proven track record of achieving sales exceeding $1 million in outside sales
  • Experience with project commissioning/project management is a valuable asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
