Nesco Resource is hiring several Field Service Technicians for a direct hire opportunity in Ansonia CT
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
Travel to customer site to install and commission various types of machinery
Direct, instruct and advise customer personnel as to methods, schedules, safety practices or other matters affecting assembly, operation and servicing of equipment.
Make field trips to investigate and diagnose reported operating problems both mechanical, electrical and controls.
Compile regular or special reports as to progress, or concerning problems encountered.
Furnish any data of value in future designs or installations to the appropriate sales and engineering departments.
Make repairs or adjustments to correct operation of equipment or advise customer personnel as to how to make such repairs or adjustments themselves.
Present customer training seminars on equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
Other job duties as assigned.
IDEAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience in the installation of capital equipment/mahinery
Experience in designing/testing/building industrial automation and control systems including PID and other control methodologies
The ideal candidate will have exposure to one or more of the following PLC and/or HMI systems - Allen Bradley, ControlLogix, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Rockwell, Wonderware, WinCC, Panelview Plus and will have hands-on programming experience
Experience with industry standard communication protocols like Modbus, DeviceNet, Ethernet IP, ControlNet, Profibus, ProfiNet
Experience with AC Variable Frequency Drives
