White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in beautiful La Jolla, CA, is seeking individuals to join our dining services team. As the largest nonprofit owner/operator of senior living communities in California and one of the largest in the country, we are more than just a place to work. Schedule: Part Time
Pay Range: $17.50- $20.00
Job Duties:
- Set tray cards; read tray service memo, set tray line and dish up soup, dinners, salads, desserts, coffee, water;
- Fill out menu; set tables for next meal; checks for supplies;
- Assist in preparation of food;
- Deliver and pick up food carts;
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room and kitchen; adhere to sanitary guidelines;
- Ensure resident satisfaction by reflecting professionalism and customer service;
Requirements:- 6 months experience in related field preferred; Fast food or restaurant experience preferred;
- Experience working with seniors preferred;
- Food Handler's or ServSafe certification preferred;
- Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) with residents;
- Available on holidays, evenings and weekends (we will work with your schedule.

Final candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, and physical abilities test. Candidates must also successfully pass a drug screen and the Department of Justice Criminal background clearance.
