BASIC FUNCTION:
Perform all distribution functions in the most efficient, safe, and professional manner while providing timely reliable customer service.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Operate a sitting lift truck in a safe and efficient manner
Proficient use of RF scan guns
Proficient use of a computer
Perform accurate inventory cycle counts
Ability to operate spotting truck/yard dog
Adherence to all GMPs, policies and procedures
Housekeeping of facilities and equipment
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
Ability to communicate verbally and written in a professional manner, in the English language, when working with the public/customers and co-workers.
Ability to receive, ship, and warehouse materials in a timely, accurate, safe and secure manner.
Ability to work within a respectful multicultural team environment
Self-directed with little instruction
Ability to complete tasks within short time constraints
MENTAL AND PHSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to maintain considerable concentration with frequent time pressures and interruptions.
Ability to maintain visual attention for extended periods of time.
Ability to occasionally lift or carry minimal weights up to 60 pounds.
Ability to occasionally reach, squat, kneel, climb, push or pull.
Ability to lift and sit on a routine basis
Ability to work extended hours with little or no notice
Ability to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

This position requires working in the internal and external environment.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Requires a high school diploma/GED
3-5 years of Food Manufacturing or Distribution experience preferred
2 years minimum lift truck experience required

Sitting lift truck
Company uniforms, Laboratory Jackets, Non-Latx Gloves, Ear Plugs, Safety-Toe Shoes, Hair Net and Safety Glasses, Beard Snoot and Face Mask, if applicable.
