Job Details
Job Summary: Coordinate and oversee all logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate shipments to Aegis warehouse, and to project sites.
- Work closely with project managers in material delivery scheduling across multiple projects.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
- Assist with inventory tracking and inventory management.
- Optimize logistic process for cost-effectiveness.
- Develop multiple trusted carriers for shipping flexibility.
- Work closely with Procurement Coordinator to obtain raw materials, components, and fabricated assemblies.
- Create packing list, material shipment labelling for material loads.
- Assist in transition to new company ERP as required.
- Follow-up on any quality issues arriving from shipping and receiving.
- Work with warehouse personnel to assist in truck loading/unloading.
- Manage inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing carrying costs.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to streamline operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
- Assist in PO data entry.
- Assist Procurement Coordinator in any activities as needed.

Qualifications
- A bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in procurement, project management, or a relevant logistics role.
- Proficient in using logistics software and systems for tracking shipments and managing inventory.
- An analytical, problem-solving personality with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with vendors.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, and external partners.
- Knowledge of materials management, distribution center operations, and supply chain principles
- Forklift operation certification or ability to obtain forklift operation certification
