The Housekeeping Worker is responsible for cleaning patient rooms, nursing units, clinical/waiting areas, rest rooms, elevators and corridors. In addition, this individual will sweep, mop, buff, and vacuum; perform other janitorial functions as instructed. The Housekeeping Worker will take lead in performing all phases of Environmental Services in the assigned unit and perform the specific tasks in the absence of a supervisor. Qualifications: Required: Ability to speak, write, read and understand the English language required Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs Annual Hospital Mandatory Education Requirements Preferred: High School graduate or equivalent preferred Experienced in Environmental service work, burnishing floors and cleaning equipment preferred Scheduling Requirements: 7:00 am-3:00 pm with every other weekend Essential Functions: Performs timely patient room cleaning and provides cleaning support to the various departments Cleans daily in all area...Housekeeping, Worker, Cleaning, Environmental Service, Patient Care, Health, Healthcare
