Your role in helping us shape the future:

The HDI Product & Data Analyst will lead testing and data analysis of the HDI portfolio and data preparation and testing of our annual rankings launches. The candidate must be capable of multitasking, managing their own time, and working on several product initiatives simultaneously.

This person will play a pivotal role including understanding and contributing to functional specifications, developing test plans, and leading the QA and testing of the HDI product. The Product Analyst will work closely with our Healthcare Product leadership, analysis team and HDI sales and account management teams to advance the HDI strategy, assess market and customer needs and identify growth opportunities. This person will also work closely with the product and development teams to help implement HDI product initiatives. HDI is a data-intensive product and this position will also be deeply involved in data analysis, data QA, and, as such, will require a deep understanding of the ratings and rankings methodologies, data inputs and files used to power the product insights.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing test plans and knowledge of healthcare data and analytics. The ideal candidate is passionate about healthcare data and quality improvement, is detail-oriented, and enjoys interacting with clients and users. Are you up to the challenge?

  • Analyze business and functional specifications, develop appropriate test cases, and lead the implementation of all QA and testing..
  • Performs analysis to understand and resolve product and data issues,maintenance items, and product updates collaborating closely with product and health analysis teams
  • Develop a deep level of understanding of the intricacies of the HDI products and data as well as the needs of HDI customers and their workflows.
  • Work closely with our Health Analysis team and partners to understand the specifics of the healthcare data and methodologies used in the ranking and ratings.
  • Collaborate with our HDI Sales & Account Management, Health Analysis, and User Experience teams to make improvements to HDI and help resolve any product issues.
  • Meet directly with clients to incorporate their input and understand any potential issues with the product and data analysis..
  • Manage large scale, time sensitive projects, including two annual rankings launches, within a cross-functional team including tech, design, and QA.
  • Oversee existing products and define new features and products based upon consumer feedback including validating customer use cases for current and planned offerings.
  • Continuous focus on iterative product enhancement. Prioritize, manage and test features.
  • Work closely with the product and development teams to the launch of new HDI products.
Position Requirements

You should definitely have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 1-3 years of professional work experience in software QA and testing, healthcare data analysis, or health informatics.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to multitask and work on deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Deep passion for understanding and improving products and user experiences
  • Strong communication skills and collaboration skills
It would be nice if you had:
  • Ability to understand/work in SAS and have experience
  • Experience working with healthcare data and analytics
  • Familiarity with the Agile scrum workflow
  • Experience working with hospitals or health systems

  • In New York City, the anticipated base salary for this position is $60,000 to $75,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, interview performance, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
