Position Overview:
As a Superintendent - Data Center Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction of state-of-the-art Data Center facilities. You'll lead a team of professionals, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of Data Center construction projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of resources.
- Lead and supervise a team of subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that may arise.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.
- Foster a culture of safety and quality on the job site, implementing best practices and procedures to minimize risks and maximize efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on Data Center projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from conception to completion.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials, particularly as they relate to Data Center facilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including OSHA requirements and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) is a plus.
