Microwave Innovations is seeking an Electronics Assembler with experience in the assembly of RF & Microwave transmitters, receivers, and sub-systems for Defense and Aerospace Systems.
Microwave Innovations is an industry leader in flight vehicle transmitters and receivers used to transmit telemetry and command/control between various Aviation, Munitions, Space Launch vehicles, Satellites and the ground monitoring systems used in R&D and flight launch. These products offer our customers high reliability under some of the most extreme operating environments, with high efficiency, in small form factors.
Primary duties of this position include:
* Assembling of electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems
* Precision Soldering of EEE components, passive electronic components, connectors and wire onto multilayer printed wire boards
* Assisting Technicians with test efforts
* Assisting Engineering with parts list checking and builds
* Working together with all team members in various supporting roles to meet contract requirements
Candidate requirements include:
* At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in Aerospace/Defense Industries
* S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
* Well organized and detail-oriented team player but able to operate independently
* Independent problem solver
* Excellent analytical skills
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
* Proficiency in assembling, soldering, and **reading/interpreting of electronic schematic/drawing information**
* Must be comfortable working directly with the management team
