Job DetailsJob Location: FedEx Ground P&D (Whitehall) - Whitehall, OHSalary Range: $47,000.00 - $58,000.00 Salary/yearDescriptionOverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our team. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and repair various automotive issues on everything from tractors to cargo vans.SCHEDULE:SUNDAY's- THURSDAY's 3:30 pm- 11:30 OR MONDAY's- FRIDAY's 2 am- 10 amDuties* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in vehicles and equipment* Conduct inspections to identify any potential issues or safety concerns* Complete necessary repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime* Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed* Work with FedEx management to ensure compliance of all vehicles at all times* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the fleetQualifications* Proven experience as a Fleet Mechanic or similar role* Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques* Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment* Familiarity with air brake systems and vehicle maintenance procedures* Experience working with farm machinery is a plus* Excellent customer service skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordIf you are a skilled mechanic with a passion for maintaining and repairing vehicles, we would love to hear from you.
