Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Provide assistance with overseeing the day-to-day operations within the Inventory Control Department.Assist with assuring Inventory Health KPIs are met week over week.Ensure all Associates are trained effectively to meet IC standards.Assist with item attributes, error logs, customer reorders, and customer returns.Support Inventory leadership in taking the lead on various tasks and projects as assigned.Assist the Product Coordinator with assigning and identifying bins for ideal locations to put away incoming freight.Provide leadership with overseeing/auditing check-in procedures for freight being unloaded from containers.Ensure PO receipts are cross referenced with dock sheets to confirm accuracy before POs are received into IDS.When applicable, read and follow up on emails sent to the Inventory Control department.Provides training/retraining to new and tenured associates.Partner with leadership to ensure IDS transfers request are picked, packed, and shipped in accordance with SOP standards.Manage replenishment queue to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner according to SOP standards.Oversee daily operations in the department to maintain a high level of productivity and quality while achieving operating goals; promote team adherence to Company policies and procedures.Monitor and provide consistent feedback to employees on individual and team performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to promote standards for Quality and Productivity.Build and maintain productive working relationships with all employees to maximize efficiency and morale to support the company culture.Conduct daily team meetings to update employees on work expectations, task assignments, best practices, and operating expectations.Clearly communicate team goals, resolve problems as they arise, and answer any related questionsDevelop a cross-trained team that can flex into other departments or jobs as neededMaintain a high level of communication with the Outbound, Inbound, and Leadership team along with partnering with other team leads to flex labor when necessary.Other duties as assignedEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEMinimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; receiving and/or inventory experience preferredHigh school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESProficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understandingDemonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligenceCustomer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectationsLANGUAGE SKILLSBusiness Proficiency in English is requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
