ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - (4-9 Years' Experience) - McLean, VADo you feel you've designed just about everything by now? We do more than 'just design'. We deliver multiple solutions and work with the client to pick the best solution for their case. Then we get to do the actual work of carrying out our ideas and solving their problems for good.Most of our projects are renovations, frequently of only the MEP/FP systems, so it makes for some interesting and challenging projects. The fun of renovation work is dealing with the existing constraints imposed by the structure or building operations. We find ourselves regularly solving problems like how to make the equipment fit into an existing building or figuring out how the contractor will build your design. Lead system design, including AGI lighting and power calculations and layouts surveying existing conditions, assisting in project management and coordination, and lots more fun stuff.Help us tackle our clients' problems.Prepare and present technical reports and presentations.Help maintain our 95% referral rate and high contract performance ratings.WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOUBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Architectural Engineering (Electrical / Lighting focus).4 to 9 years' experience in lighting and power design.Experience with AGI32, SKM and/or Easypower a plusExperience in production of construction documents and follow-on construction services.
