We have partnered with one of our long time IPP clients in the search for a Finance Associate to help support the group in vetting projects and ensuring the competitive identification and development of competitive projects.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple financial analysis projects at the same time. You will assist in corporate level analysis by preparing budgets and fund valuation models. Additionally you will collaborate with subject matter experts to obtain and validate project assumptions, develop and optimize financial models and business cases, prepare financial forecasts ensure timeliness and accuracy of quarterly reporting requirements, and assist in training project financial analysts to perform modeling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
- 2-4 years' of relevant experience
- Experience in supporting M&A transactions preferred
- Excellent quantitative analysis skills
- Strong quantitative financial skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Have an in-depth understand of Power markets, Power price Forecasting & modelling, and Renewable development financing
