Description

CHT is looking for an ambitious individual who is willing to learn a new industry and wants to make a difference at a fast paced, ever changing, and evolving company. This is an entry level position, and we are looking for someone with a mechanical ability and willingness to help us make our customers happy on a daily basis. From day one, as a service technician you will be able to have influence on the safety of patients and hospitals across the country. As a Service Technician you will perform annual inspections and complete service / repair work for healthcare facilities throughout the country.


Duties / Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, and make repairs to medical piped gas systems
  • Maintain customer databases
  • Perform environmental monitoring services
  • Identify opportunities for repairs and upgrades
  • Complete service reports
  • Communicate with customers to present test results and recommendations
  • Partner with local sales representatives to maintain client relationships
  • Demonstrate technical aptitude by providing excellent service and obtaining professional credentials
  • Attend safety training and maintain safe work practices


The pay range fluctuates based on experience, ranging from $17.25 to $22 per hour. CHT provides paid training for all necessary certifications. This position requires overnight travel, sometimes out of state, approximately 70%-90% of the time. The majority of the travel is Monday Friday.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or Equivalent
  • One to three years of stable work history
  • Proficient in Microsoft; Excel, Word, Outlook; and Google Drive
  • Must have mechanical ability and able to repair and fix items with your hands
  • Must be able to obtain professional certifications as needed, including ASSE credentials (CHT provides paid training for ASSE certifications)
  • Must possess, maintain a safe driving record, and current state issued driver's license
  • Must be able to pass multiple background checks, motor vehicle records checks, and drug tests as required by our clients.
  • Must have valid COVID Vaccination Documentation / COVID booster documentation if required by CDC mandate. Negative Tb tests record/required upon hire. Annual flu shot required, and any vaccines or test required by our customers
  • Ability to maintain a company iPhone
  • Ability to maintain a company credit card and expense reports.
  • Ability to maintain company vehicle and equipment
