Job Details
We are currently assisting our client, a global company based in Milwaukee, WI, with a Controller search overlooking multiple manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing all FP&A reporting to management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis (including 3-year Strategy Planning and Budget). This role will be a key business partner to the Plant Manager performing ad-hoc tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate monthly forecasting and provide the necessary financial analysis
- Coordinate, perform, and/or supervise audit activities of internal, government and/or third parties
- Develop and implement plant accounting control procedures, ensure the reliability of data, and comply with general accepted accounting principles and company policies
- Prepare the monthly plant forecasts and variance analysis along with financial reporting and the annual budget process
- Ownership of budget process working with plant leadership to set direction and establish financial targets
- Manage and improve internal controls and procedures
- Assist with monthly SIOP
- Partner with other functions and serve as lead financial support for plant projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA and or CPA preferred
- 4 years' experience of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems
