Position Summary

SPR s Agricultural Plastics Division is seeking an Account Manager to support our full line of crop packaging products. We are seeking a dynamic sales professional with a passion for agriculture and a proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and expanding market share in the agricultural sector. The candidate should have a working knowledge of the sector, including an understanding of the value provided by quality silage covers, oxygen barrier films, silage & grain bags, and baler twine. The Account Manager will be expected to service an existing book of business, prospect for new business and generate sales strategies. We are seeking a self-motivated person with the drive to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. The position reports to the Director of Agriculture Sales.


Duties and responsibilities

A candidate for this position must share a passion for agriculture as well as the honesty, integrity, commitment, and hard work that is characteristic of those who dedicate their lives to agriculture. Training is provided which includes visits to our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Spain.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or a degree in a non-Agriculture discipline with a significant agriculture industry background or commensurate experience.
  • years of sales experience in Feed Management and Nutrition or Agriculture Machinery and Equipment.
  • generating pull-through sales working alongside distributors and dealers.
  • negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral.
  • organized and excellent attention to detail.
  • have a valid driver s license. Must have a US Passport or the ability to get one.
  • software proficiency primarily MS Office applications.


Sales Scope

  • States with a focus on the Midwest/Northeast, and periodic training visits to Spain.
  • to 50% travel required.
